Buff Orpingtons are large, fluffy, golden coloured chickens. They provide excellent meat, are good layers and produce great tasting eggs. Buff Orpington eggs are large, light brown, and have bright yellow yolks. Old Manor Buff Orpingtons spend their day wandering freely around the orchard and wander back to their hen houses well before dusk, ready to be shut in for the night. Depending on the time of year, we supply :

1. Hatching eggs - Buff Orpington hatching eggs for you hatch in your own incubator. We cannot guarantee the fertility of our hatching eggs but can confirm that our own hatching success rates are good.
2. Unsexed Buff Orpington chicks
3. Occasionally we also have Buff Orpington Hens and Cockerels available

Supplies of Buff Orpington hatching eggs and live birds are subject to availability and supplies will vary depending on the time of year and demand, so please either email us or call us on 01684 296295 to check current stock and supply options. All live birds must be collected from the Old Manor Twyning, by appointment. Buff Orpington Hatching Eggs are only available for UK mainland delivery.

If you are collecting Buff Orpingtons from the Old Manor, Twyning, you will need to bring the following with you:

1. A box to transport your buff orpington chicks/ chickens home
2. Newspaper
3. Hot water bottle (only needed for chicks)

Please make sure you have suitable housing and protection in place for your Buff Orpingtons before you collect the. If you are collecting chicks , they can be kept in a large box with a heat lamp to keep them warm.
